So I feel like my routine this morning made it possible to see the sun rise. I also get up, get dressed, feed myself breakfast ( I use to never eat breakfast unless my husband made me), put on make up and just be ready to go out if I need. It helps myself esteem being dressed and putting make up on. I also have some alone time in the morning before my mom is up and my husband is already at work. Some quiet relax time with the dog. I know its all such small stuff but we all know that sometimes the smallest of things can make us feel better. I have found that doing something the same in a certain order is helpful and will there will be times I may get off my routine I can get back to it. I think its worth a try and everyone will have a different routine and it may take a while to get where you want to be but baby steps are key. I also make sure to drink enough water by having a app on my phone to remind me to drink water and keep track of what I drink.
It keeps me on track and helps me eat less and is great for my body. I hope maybe this will help someone out there. Is there a routine you follow and does it help? I also know that life doesn't have a one size fits all thing so I will just say if it doesn't sound right for you then try something else or if you want to try and it isn't for you try something else.
